THE WORKERS OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel de Garabandal INC. is a non-profit, tax exempt, religious organization incorporated in 1968 by our founder, Joseph Lomangino of Lindenhurst, New York
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is to promote the messages of Our Lady given during her alleged apparitions at San Sebastian de Garabandal, Spain (1961-1965).
The Message consists of:
1.Personal conversion to live according to the Gospel in a spirit of prayer, sacrifice and penance.
2.Love of Jesus Christ really present in the Eucharist
3.Prayer for priests
4.Reconstitution of lives around the Sacraments and devotion to the rosary and the scapular
5.Obedience to lawful Church authority
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel are Roman Catholics operating in deference to our local Bishop and faithfully obedient to Pope John Paul II, his predecessors and successors.
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel await the conclusion of these events by the fulfillment of the prophecies (the Warning, the Great Miracle and Sign left at the Pines until the end of time) and will accept the official position of the Church on these matters when it is issued.
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel believe the spectacular events and prophesized phenomena which have and will occur at Garabandal are meant to lend credibility to this Message just as the miracles of Jesus Christ gave authority to His words.
The Workers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel believe Our Lady appeared to give a message to a world on the brink of destruction…a world in crisis. The events of our time call for a persistent and faithful commitment to make the message known as Our Lady requested. With prayerful perseverance we ask Almighty God, through the intercession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel for the conversion of sinners, the sanctification of priests, the liberation of the souls in purgatory, and the strengthening of the Church. We ask through the prayers and works of all who love Our Lady, that the prophesized, conditional Chastisement be averted.
